Our leathercraft workshops introduce you to the essential techniques used in creating handcrafted leather goods. All levels learn the same core skills, with project difficulty adjusted according to your level.
What You Will Learn
You will practice the key techniques of traditional leathercraft, including:
Beveling – Rounding and smoothing the edges for a clean, professional finish
Creasing – Adding decorative or structural crease lines to enhance your design
Chiselling – Creating precise stitching holes using prong or diamond chisels
Saddle Stitching – Learning the strongest and most durable hand-stitching method
Edge Polishing & Burnishing – Smoothing and sealing edges for a refined look
Final Finishing – Applying oils, waxes, and treatments to protect and enhance the piece
Leather Alignment – Positioning your pieces correctly

To keep your workshop experience smooth and focused, certain steps will be completed by the instructor in advance:
Pattern cutting and leather preparation
Backside/flesh-side leather treatment
Tools and materials setup
This allows you to concentrate on hands-on craftsmanship during the session.
